The company has operations in four different locations there and Ostroleka is the biggest one. Daniel Andrzejak, mill manager at Stora Enso Ostroleka, says that investors appreciate the fact that Poland is in the EU, the country’s economic growth is steady and the infrastructure functions well. According to him, they will invest in the environment, saving energy and reducing emissions this and next year. Mr Andrzejak adds that carbon dioxide emissions should decrease by 35 per cent by 2025. Stora Enso has invested in total EUR 500 million in its Polish operations whereas UPM Raflatac’s equivalent figure is EUR 130 million and Metsä Group’s EUR 70 million.

Stora Enso ha hecho las inversiones más grandes de todos ellos. La compañía tiene operaciones en cuatro posiciones diferentes allí y Ostroleka es el más grande. Daniel Andrzejak, gerente de molino en Stora Enso Ostroleka, dice que los inversionistas aprecian el hecho que Polonia está en la Unión Europea, el crecimiento económico del país es estable y las funciones de infraestructura bien. Según él, ellos invertirán en el ambiente, salvando la energía y reduciendo emisiones este y el próximo año.
