Andritz provides the new BCTMP line to Russian plant

Andritz will supply the complete new folding box board production line to KAMA Karton LLC in Russia, according to Andritz.
The BCTMP line will be ANDRITZ's 30th mechanical pulping system installed worldwide.
The new BCTMP line uses birch the raw material and the high-efficiency mechanical pulping system begins with a chip washing system, the pre-steaming unit, and an impregnation system equipped with an MSD Impressafiner.
In addition, the reject refining system will contain an ANDRITZ low-consistency TwinFlo refiner to ensure lower energy consumption in combination with excellent pulp properties in both mainline and reject low-consistency refining.
Start-up of the complete KAMA production line is scheduled for the first quarter of 2019.
